Stadtwerke München GmbH is the municipal utilities company of the city of Munich. For decades, SWM has stood for a safe and resource-saving supply of energy (electricity, natural gas, district heating) and drinking water which is sourced in the Bavarian alpine uplands. Its transport subsidiary, MVG, is responsible for the metro system, buses and trams, and is therefore an essential pillar of Munich’s local public transport. Furthermore, with its 18 indoor and open air swimming pools, SWM operates one of the most modern networks of swimming pools in Germany. With its well-priced products and customer-oriented services, SWM makes a large contribution to municipal public services and to the quality of life in Munich.  Swissgas
 (3,33 %)

Swissgas operates as a non-profit-making purchasing organization which acts on behalf of the four Swiss
regional distributors. The regional distributors are in turn owned by approximately 100 local gas utility companies. Thus Swissgas ensures secure, permanent procurement and associated transmission of
close to three-quarters of the natural gas consumed in Switzerland. Switzerland's demand for natural gas amounts to less than one percent of that of the whole EU. Around three-quarters of the natural gas procured by Western Europe's major suppliers is produced in Europe, especially Norway and the Netherlands. Swissgas operates its own high-pressure pipelines in Switzerland. It also has a share in the cross-Switzerland gas pipeline to Italy and holds transmission rights abroad.
