Bayerngas Norge awarded licence 596 in the Norwegian Sea
As part of the awards in the 21st Licence round Bayerngas Norge was today awarded a
15% share in seven blocks located in the deep Møre basin.
The award is an important part of the strategy of Bayerngas Norge. The company aims
for a combined portfolio with one well per year in frontier areas with high risk and
high reward combined with at least 5 wells per year in mature areas close to
infrastructure.
Bayerngas continuous growth on the Norwegian Shelf
Bayerngas Norge has today been awarded 6 licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The awards are the result of applications in the Applications in Predefined Areas (APA) for 2010. The awards represent another milestone for a company with significant ambitions for future growth.
